Jerry “Geronimo” Sandoval is a native Santa Fean who was immersed in art at a very young age. He grew up in the prestigious art district of Canyon Road. As a young man he frequented the galleries in the heart of Santa Fe’s gallery scene. He learned to love art and dreamed of creating his own.
Jerry creates sculptures and reliefs ranging in size, from 12” x 12” to larger pieces of 4’ x 5’ made of clay, plaster, wood and metal and has been gifting his pieces to friends and family over the past 30 years, bringing them much joy.
His inspiration comes from his Christian faith and the many artists he has come to know and appreciate. Jerry is very excited to share his artistic vision with the attendees of the Contemporary Hispanic Market in 2023.

This past weekend was an amazing experience. Great response from the public and other artists. One of my pieces, “The Ultimate Sacrifice” is a piece dedicated to fallen soldiers who gave their lives for our freedom. Col. Donnie Quintana stopped by my booth and we spoke of the impact the piece was having on the public. I donated this piece to the NM Veterans Service Department and it will be going on tour to various Veteran sites.
